School Year Spring College Visits
Each spring senior campers and LITs are invited to visit colleges with Tall Turf staff. College visits take place both locally and out of town. Trip destinations are determined by the interests of those attending and often focus on historically black colleges. Fund raising for these trips is done by those attending.

School Year Leader in Training (LIT) Program
The LIT Program has been expanded to hire teens to work for camp and serve in the community year-round. These teens will assist with Camp Tall Turf's school year program, serve on local boards, participate in a number of trainings and occasionally serve as trainers in areas such as reconciliation to other organizations. LIT's are required to have adult mentors as well.

Summer Leader in Training (LIT) Program
The LIT program hires high school aged youth each summer. Designed to motivate teens in making positive choices and living lives of service, this program requires participants to serve others, mentor youth campers and peers, increase life and entrepreneurial skills, and prepare for college and various careers. This program takes place both at camp and away from camp on various service trips.
At this session teens build relationships with fellow campers and staff. Participants select daily activities to so do such as a trip to a high-rope course, tubing, and day athe Ludington State Park beach, and a local work project. Evenings feature on-site large group activities and praise worship time.
