Ribon Cutting Celebrated Bringing Camp Home Campaign and the Completion of Major Renovations.

Excitement is thick in the air here at Tall Turf, thicker even then the stress of busyness and change.  We are excited not only because we are entering our 43rd summer of ministry, but also because we have undergone many changes here.  After much planning, preparation, and  fundraising by staff members, board members, and dedicated volunteers, Tall Turf has a newly renovated home!

On Friday, June 3, 2011 we held the Bringing Camp Home event.  This event was open to the public and celebrated our new home with a relaxed  evening of conversation and refreshment.  The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce assisted in leading a ribbon cutting ceremony and invited guests offered some remarks on what this new space and Tall Turf’s ministry has meant and will mean for them.  We have a lot to celebrate!

*Camp Tall Turf—located in Walkerville, MI— will still be a program of Tall Turf Ministries

Most exciting of all is the fact that through all of these changes we still serve the same great God who is equipping youth for lives of reconciliation in His world.
